IFS nidhi Tewari: prime minister Narendra Modi has named nidhi Tiwari, an indian Foreign service (IFS) 2014 batch officer, as his personal secretary (PS).  Nidhi Tiwari was previously employed as the Deputy Secretary in the Prime Minister's office (PMO) by the directive from DoPT, but she has since been promoted to the position of personal secretary to the PM.
 
Since joining the indian Foreign service in 2014, nidhi Tiwari has held several significant positions.  Because of her excellent work as Deputy Secretary in the Prime Minister's office, she has been assigned a new role.  As the prime minister's secretary, nidhi Tiwari will have a significant burden.  In this role, he will be responsible for coordinating the Prime Minister's daily activities, setting up crucial meetings, and liaising with other government agencies.

How Much Will Be The Salary?
Pay Matrix Level 14 is reportedly used to calculate the pay scale for personnel nominated to the Private Secretary position in the Prime Minister's Office.  At this level, the monthly salary is Rs 1,44,200. In addition, other allowances such as the house Allowance (HRA), Travel Allowance (TA), and Dearness Allowance (DA) are provided.
 
In november 2022, IFS nidhi Tewari was named Deputy Secretary in the Prime Minister's office (PMO).  She previously served as Under Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs' (MEA) Disarmament and international Security Affairs Division.
