A woman in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh, allegedly threatened to cut off her husband's body parts and place them in a drum for protesting her suspected extramarital romance with another man, only days after the meerut Merchant Nay murder case. She also allegedly threatened to murder the mother of his husband.
 
Both sides complained to the police, which led to the case's discovery.
 
On social media, there was also a rumored video showing the pair fighting violently.  In the footage, the woman was also seen thrashing the man with what appeared to be a wiper or a stick.

Police stated that after investigations, action will be done in the case. They also mentioned that there are ongoing court proceedings involving the husband and wife.
 
Originally from Jhansi, the guy, dharmendra Kushwaha, who works at the Jal Nigam in Gonda, has accused his wife, maya Maurya, and her lover, Neeraj Maurya, of assaulting him and threatening to kill him.
 
According to Kushwaha, he married maya Maurya, a Basti district inhabitant, out of love in 2016.
 
He continued by saying that following the birth of their daughter, he purchased three four-wheelers in his wife's name and continued to make the payments.

According to Kushwaha, he purchased a plot of land in Maya's name in 2022 and awarded her relative Neeraj Maurya the contract to build the house.
 
He claimed that maya grew closer to her relative during this time, and their bond grew stronger following Neeraj's wife's passing during the COVID-19 pandemic.
 
On July 7, 2024, Kushwaha claimed to have witnessed maya and Neeraj in an unpleasant scenario. He stated that when he objected, he was assaulted and maya fled the house.
 
Later on august 25, 2024, maya and Neeraj went back to their house, forced the latch, and went in.  She fled with fifteen grams of gold chain and money.

According to a police complaint filed by Kushwaha, "Maya said that if you say too much, I will get you chopped and packed in a drum like the meerut massacre."
 
Maya, meanwhile, asserted that her husband was fabricating accusations.  She said that Kushwaha had harassed her and made her undergo four abortions.
 
Maya filed a complaint at the women's police station after claiming that Kushwaha had beaten her in July 2024. After this, he filed a divorce case and forced her out of the house, she alleged.

An investigation into the case is ongoing.
