Officially, salman khan and Atlee's partnership, which had fans giddy with anticipation, has been put on hold.  Financial difficulties caused the ambitious production, which was originally slated to be a high-budget pan-India movie, to be postponed indefinitely.  During the marketing of his next movie, Sikandar, salman recently addressed the issue, saying, "We tried really hard to work it out, but somehow it didn't happen."  I think it was the movie's budget.

Salman further added to the disappointment by announcing that he and Shah Rukh Khan would not be appearing in the eagerly anticipated movie "Tiger vs. Pathaan."  Fans who had high expectations for this movie—which was predicted to make over 1000 crores in india alone—are severely disappointed by this.  Following their prior successes, the movie was viewed as a significant chance for both performers to re-create their box office magic.  But there are a lot of reasons.  Due to Salman's recent run of failures, producers are apprehensive and concerned about the film's financial sustainability.

Fans expected Atlee, who made a huge hit with Jawan, to do the same with salman, but the actor is quite concerned about both films being shelved.  The industry is keeping an eye on salman as he promotes Sikandar to see how he handles this stage and whether he can return to being Bollywood's box office king.
