During their CinemaCon presentation tonight, Warner Bros. gave a stunning preview of the upcoming Final Destination: Bloodlines, which had the entire Colosseum at Caesars Palace on edge. As the sixth overall film in the series and the first to be released in almost 15 years since Final Destination 5 in 2011, the title represents a significant return for the beloved franchise. This movie has generated a lot of excitement, and the first twenty minutes hint to a thrilling plot that will have viewers on the edge of their seats for what will undoubtedly be the longest movie in the series to yet.

What's the new footage about?
In the hopes of avoiding death by killing themselves and then returning, two brothers stroll through a hospital.  They determine that flatlining is the greatest option rather than killing someone.  They go to the vending machine to obtain a peanut butter cup, using one of the brothers' peanut allergy to aid with the grunt labor.  They get their snack and head out, but the atmosphere becomes tense as the machine becomes stuck. Unfortunately, they are imprisoned in the MRI room with a septum ring and other metal on their person, and their nightmare is only getting started.

When the allergic brother bites into his mouthwatering death treat, he becomes frightened and unintentionally throws his body into the computer, causing the MRI machine to trip.  The pressure causes the second brother's piercings to fly out in all directions before he is forced into the MRI machine in a wheelchair. The other brother finds his EPI pen and makes it in time, but a spring from the vending machine kills him.

Future of Final Destination
When Bloodlines terrifies viewers on May 16, the Final Destination franchise's overall box office revenue of $667 million will continue to rise.  It's almost a given that the story will continue with a seventh installment if the film does well, hopefully coming sooner rather than later than the five-to-six break.  Additionally, a familiar person might even rejoin the group if another group tries to outdance death.
