After Mr. Bachchan's last film was a failure, director harish shankar placed all of his faith in Ustaad Bhagat Singh.  Rumor has it, however, that the project will not proceed.  It's interesting to note that harish shankar is getting ready for his bollywood debut.  Salman Khan has responded favorably to the story told by Harish, and mythri movie makers is developing a hindi project with the actor.

Salman Khan's admirers and bollywood insiders are already questioning whether the actor is truly prepared for another South filmmaker. The fact that hindi film stars are chasing South directors is a fact.  Salman Khan was going to be directed by Atlee, but that never happened. AR murugadoss then entered the picture.  Their joint movie, Sikandar, which came out around Eid, did not perform well at the box office.

Sultan and bajrangi bhaijaan were Salman's final big hits after Sikandar was a complete bust and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ka jaan was the target of intense ridicule.  Currently, harish shankar is responsible for producing a hit and upholding his reputation.
 
South indian filmmakers have frequently been viewed with suspicion by North indian media.  In particular, harish shankar hasn't been too successful lately.  Therefore, it stands to reason that Salman's admirers would prefer the actor to collaborate with a well-known bollywood filmmaker.  Can we trust Harish in such a situation?  still up for debate.
