An endearing account of a woman who gained over 6 million views on Instagram. She was sold into the sex trade by her own uncle when she was just 16 years old, fifteen years ago. Life has been an unrelenting battle ever since, involving suffering, surviving, and an unconscious yearning for home. She finally gets to visit her family again after more than ten years, but the reunion does not go as planned.

Anish Bhagat, a content creator who decided to help her re-establish a connection with her past, released a video that revealed her experience.  After 15 years apart, the film, which has since received 6.7 million views, chronicles her trip as she gets ready to return to her village. The video was now removed due to unknown reasons.

Her fellow prostitutes congregate before she departs, presenting her with tiny presents to give to her relatives. Their acts of generosity reveal an implicit understanding. She enters a store with cautious optimism to purchase a saree for her mother, a sentimental and yearning present. She acknowledges that she no longer understands what her older brother does as she picks out a watch for him.

She also discloses that her father has passed away. She eventually arrives at her village with Bhagat by her side.  She can now return to the house she left behind. But she encounters rejection rather than kindness and acceptance. Her family closes the door on her by refusing to accept her.

"Her family, too afraid of what others might say, chose to push her away rather than acknowledge her pain," according to the description.

Her words, "I didn't choose this life,"  "But they looked at me like I did."

An online emotional outpouring was triggered by the video. While some have urged for greater understanding and compassion of women who are caught in similar situations, many others have expressed sympathy for her traumatic journey.

A user commented, "So her uncle is accepted in society.. but not her ?"

Another wrote, "Sadly that's not the first uncle and will not be the last. If someone gets hit by a car and breaks a leg, would this person ask forgiveness of the family? She have nothing to ask anyone's forgiveness for! It's the family who let her down!! Her and many other girls like her!! They should ask her forgiveness for not standing up for her, for not being a safe place for the child they brought into this world."
