Formerly a top-tier director, AR murugadoss has been fighting to restore his fame following a string of box office failures, including Akira, Spyder, and Darbar.  His career has taken a turn for the worse after his most recent bollywood production, Sikandar, received universally negative reviews.

Sivakarthikeyan's Madharasi, which was already 80% finished before murugadoss took a detour to direct Sikandar, may now be the largest collateral damage of this disaster.  By allowing murugadoss to postpone Madharasi in favor of Sikandar, Sivakarthikeyan took a significant risk.  It was thought that Madharasi's chances would improve with Murugadoss' bollywood comeback.  But Sikandar's failure has backfired horribly, which could hurt Madharasi's chances.

Ram Charan's Game Changer predicament, in which he permitted shankar to continue on indian 2 before completing their picture, is very comparable to this circumstance.  Game Changer's excitement has now suffered due to indian 2's unfavorable reviews.  Sivakarthikeyan may have made the same fatal error with Madharasi.

However, given that salman khan had a significant influence on the creative choices, some contend that murugadoss is not solely to blame for Sikandar's failure.  Accordingly, Madharasi is Murugadoss's actual and final test; if it doesn't pass, he may be genuinely done as a successful director.  For the time being, Madharasi is the only one who can save his reputation.
