Nithyananda for land grabbing in Bolivia? What happened?

Controversial spiritual guru Nithyananda Swami, who fled india after facing serious allegations of sexual harassment and child abduction, is once again in the news. This time, his focus has fallen on the South American country of Bolivia. It seems that he tried to grab land on a large scale there. After this matter came to light, the Bolivian government became alert and arrested 20 people associated with Nithyananda's 'Kailaasa' and sent them back to their home countries. Going into details, some people from Nithyananda's 'Kailaasa' organization recently visited Bolivia. They helped the local people during the fire that was raging, and then looked at the lands there. They signed agreements with the local tribal tribes to lease the land. It is also noteworthy that the Kailasa representatives also posed for photos with the Bolivian President Luis Arce.
At one point, a representative of a local tribe agreed to lease a land area almost three times the size of delhi for 25 years. An agreement was also reached to pay 200,000 dollars for this. However, the Kailasa representatives asked for a lease for 1000 years, as well as permission to use the airspace in the area and extract natural resources. This matter was published as an investigative article in a Bolivian newspaper, which created a sensation across the country. The alert Bolivian government immediately took action. In this matter, 20 people with links to Kailash were arrested. The agreements they had made with the locals were canceled. Among those arrested were Indians, Chinese, and American citizens. Immigration officials said that all of them entered bolivia on tourist visas and traveled the country several times, and in this process, they entered into agreements with the locals. It was also found that some people had been staying there since last November.

Speaking on the incident, Bolivia's Foreign minister clarified that they have no diplomatic relations with the controversial 'United States of Kailash'. Meanwhile, there were reports that after Nithyananda fled india, a special area named 'Kailasha' was established. However, there is still no clarity on where that area is. Nithyananda had earlier announced that he had purchased a small island near ecuador and named it Kailash. Recently, during a hearing of a case, the tamil Nadu government also informed the high court that Nithyananda was in Ecuador. In short, Nithyananda and his followers are once again embroiled in controversies. In addition to their failed land grab attempt in bolivia, the matter has also become a topic of discussion internationally.
