Pooja Hegde has never held back when expressing her views.  Recently, the deva actress gained notoriety for costarring in various films alongside celebrities salman khan, Prabhas, and shahid Kapoor.  Pooja recently talked about how she was turned down for a tamil movie because the filmmakers felt she was too young for the part.  The actress acknowledged that she tried out for the part but wasn't chosen. She always looks forward to the audition process as a means of selection, though, and doesn't let rejections deter her.

In an interview with The Times of India, pooja hegde revealed, “I recently auditioned for a tamil film and got rejected. They felt I was too young for the part, so they chose someone older. But I’m open to auditions and never shy away from them."

For more than ten years, the actress has been involved in the entertainment industry, and she continues to try out for jobs.  "I actually like it when people ask me to try out instead of thinking I'm not a good fit for the part," she added.
 
The 34-year-old actress clarified that this allows her to establish herself as an actor, demonstrate her ability to portray the character effectively, and allay any concerns the director may have about her fitness for the role.
 
"Performers, particularly female performers, are perceived differently by filmmakers because we are more likely to be typecast.  For this reason, I think it's crucial to try out and highlight your untapped qualities.  Being considered for a part is preferable to being passed over, the Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki jaan actress continued.
 
Pooja Hegde affirmed that she had no qualms about working hard and taking risks.  "You can't let your ego get in the way of your craft," she remarked.  You should seize the chance when it presents itself because many people do not have the honor of being invited to an audition.  Why not here, where some of the biggest performers still try out?
