In 2022, Netflix made the great decision to create an original series called wednesday, which would follow the teenage character wednesday Addams, daughter of Gomez and Morticia Addams.  Despite being the primary character for a large portion of that first season, Jenna Ortega plays the title character, which was created by Charles Addams, with amazing grace.

Emma Myers' character, Enid Sinclair, her roommate, would also become well-known.  By the end of Wednesday's first season, Enid had gone from being on the periphery of the story to playing a significant role in what was happening at Nevermore Academy.  In Season 2, two of the major stars of the show are now making fun of the character's differences.

In an article for Variety, Myers and Ortega tease a change in Enid during the summer, revealing that she has changed in Season 2.  The actor expresses anxiety about playing the role again for the upcoming season, even though Myers says that Enid has grown much more at ease with herself.  I recall thinking, "I don't know if I can re-create this now," after seeing scenes of myself from Season 1, which is why I was a little afraid to return.  It's been a long time," Myers remarked.

Furthermore, "But it returned right away, as if nothing had changed, as we reached the table read.  Since I've lived with Enid for so long, I believe it comes naturally to me now.  Additionally, since [Enid] has altered throughout the summer, there's no harm in switching things up.  She has matured and gained confidence in herself.
