Ajith Kumar is ready to make his big-screen comeback with his eagerly anticipated Good Bad Ugly following the disaster of Vidaamuyarchi. There are enormous expectations because it's reportedly Ajith's most expensive movie ever. In terms of actual interest at the grassroots level, the magnum opus is doing significantly better than Vidaamuyarchi, and the talk has been positive thus far. The remarkable day one advance booking at the indian box office demonstrated the same.

Five days remain till the release of the forthcoming kollywood action entertainer, which is set on april 10.  However, reservations are already being made in advance.  There are currently about 1,550 performances posted, and we will get a clear picture of the number of shows in the following two to three days.

Bookings have increased since the much-anticipated trailer was released yesterday.  Pre-sales have accelerated as a result of the trailer's largely positive reception.  Good Bad Ugly has sold 4.90 crore worth of tickets at the indian box office as of 1 pm IST (not including blocked seats).  This includes the remarkable 2.49 lakh+ tickets sold.

Tamil Nadu is leading the way in advance booking, as anticipated, with tickets sold for a gross of 4.86 crore out of the total pre-sales for day 1.  Four lakh tickets have been sold in Karnataka. It's quite amazing that Good Bad Ugly has already beaten Veera Dheera Sooran and Madha Gaja Raja's first day collections with a gross of 4.90 crore.  For those who are unaware, Madha Gaja raja made 3.54 crore on its first day at the indian box office, while Veera Dheera Sooran started at 3.77 crore.
