Ayodhya's Ramlala given surya Tilak!
Today, the festival of ram Navami 2025 is being celebrated with great pomp across the country including ayodhya and today is the last day of Chaitra Navratri. This festival is celebrated every year on the ninth day of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month. According to mythological beliefs, Lord Shri ram was born on the ninth day of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month, Punarvasu Nakshatra cancer Lagna and at noon, so Ayodhya's Ramlala will also be given Suryabhishek at noon. How will surya Tilak be done?
On the occasion of ram Navami 2025, worship is going on in the ram temple of ayodhya since morning. On this holy festival, surya abhishek will be done on the appearance of Ramlala at noon. A system has been developed in ram Mandir, which brings the rays of the sun to the idol of Ramlala present in the sanctum sanctorum. When the rays of the sun fall on the forehead of Ramlala, then surya Tilak is done.
What time will surya Tilak be done today?
For 4 minutes, the rays of the sun will be cast on the forehead of the idol of Ramlala from the optomechanical system and surya Tilak will be done. The process of surya Tilak of Ramlala will start at 12 noon and will continue till 12:04. From this ram Navami to the next 20 years, the rays of the sun will anoint Ramlala on the birth anniversary of Lord Ram. For the next 19 years, the time of surya Tilak of Ramlala will increase every year.
Suryadev stayed in ayodhya with his chariot for a month
There is a chaupaayi written by Tulsidasji in Ramcharit Manas, in which it is written 'Maas divas kar divas bha maram na janaai koi. Rath sahit rabi thakeu nisa kavan bidhi hoi.' It means that when Lord ram was born, Suryadev was very happy and reached ayodhya with his chariot and stayed there for a whole month. Due to Suryadev's stay in ayodhya, there was no night here for a whole month. That is why it is said that if you have stayed in ayodhya for a day, then understand that you have stayed there for a month, here one day is equal to one month.
