On august 4, 2023, Rajkumar (24), a native of the state's meera Sarai, wed Afroz (23), a Muslim woman from Shekhupur. The couple's youngster is four months old. But now there are claims that Afroz is forcing her spouse to become an Islamic convert. According to the young man, Afroz and her family are forcing him to get circumcised and to have their 4-month-old son done the same. He said, "I do not want to convert to Islam, nor will I allow my son to convert." He has gone to the police to ask for safety. Rajkumar is employed as a chef.
 
1. Following the marriage, Rajkumar was under pressure from the woman's family to convert to Islam.  After being brought to a mosque, he was made to eat beef and conduct namaz, or Islamic prayers.  He resisted, therefore, Afroz ended their marriage.  But in 2024, the couple got back together and moved back in together.
 
 2. Rajkumar witnessed his wife's relatives giving their child beef while he was at his in-laws' house for Eid.  When Rajkumar protested, Afroz summoned a maulana (an Islamic cleric) and other family members, pressed him once more to convert to Islam, and tried to have him circumcised.  At that moment, Rajkumar and his child left the scene.
