Ashwin: “I will never talk about CSK again”..!?

A controversy arose over the release of some videos against the team on Ravichandran Ashwin’s personal YouTube channel, which is part of the chennai Super Kings team. In this regard, a question was raised to chennai Super Kings coach stephen Fleming at a press conference yesterday. Due to this, the issue exploded into a frenzy. Following this, Ashwin has announced that he will no longer host any shows and discussions related to CSK matches on his YouTube channel. An announcement has also been made on Ashwin’s YouTube page in this regard. Earlier, Ashwin started an IPL discussion show called “The Small Council” on his YouTube channel. While he was playing for the CSK team, he participated only in the first video. In other videos, Shashtika, Peedak, and Vidyut Sivaramakrishnan are hosting a discussion show. At one point, "Pedak" who participated in the show said that chennai Super Kings' purchase of spinner Noor ahmed in the auction was a big mistake and that CSK did not need Noor ahmed when they had experienced spinners like Ashwin and ravindra Jadeja. However, Noor ahmed has taken the most wickets in the CSK team so far. Ashwin has shown a very poor performance.
This controversy aside, Vidyut Sivaramakrishnan created a controversy by saying that he was part of the team that identified the talent of the chennai Super Kings team and that the team did not buy the young players he mentioned in the auction. Similarly, Ashwin's comments were published on his YouTube channel against the CSK team. Following the uproar among fans, Ashwin has now announced that he will no longer be airing any chennai Super Kings-related content on his YouTube channel until the end of the 2025 IPL season. Here is the announcement: "Given the nature of the discussions that took place on this forum last week, we want to be mindful of how things could be misinterpreted. As a result, we have decided to refrain from providing both previews and reviews of CSK matches for the remainder of this IPL season."

"We value the diversity of perspectives expressed on our shows. Furthermore, we are committed to ensuring that the conversation remains true to the integrity and purpose of the platform we have established. The views expressed by our guests do not reflect Ashwin's personal views. We appreciate everyone who thought and engaged with the purpose of the show. "Your feedback continues to help us refine and improve what we have built over the years. 'The Small Council' will continue as usual with all other non-CSK matches. We look forward to watching the remaining matches of this exciting IPL series with all of you."
