Now that the IPL 2025 action has begun, there is a good deal of conversation about it.  But this is where the current season falls short when it comes to the real IPL mark, fierce action.  Except for the match between delhi and Lucknow, none of the games have been able to provide thrilling closing overs.  To yet, this is the only IPL game of the highest caliber this year.

To exacerbate the situation for the three primary IPL players—MS dhoni, virat kohli, and Rohit Sharma—all three are having horrible times. In the most recent match against Bengaluru, dhoni struck a quick-fire thirty and had a brief but good innings.  However, this was after the outcome had been determined and the game was essentially over.

Virat kohli, on the other hand, has been producing runs but taking up too many deliveries to receive them.  As long as RCB continues to win, everything is fine, but once they start to lose, kohli will have to answer for his lackluster performance.  Last but not least, rohit sharma has been terrible in the IPL for the past few years and is doing even worse this year.

Surprisingly, all three of these players have been in sedentary form. They are the league's big crowd pillars at a higher capacity.  Given that he is 43 years old and no longer playing cricket for his country, dhoni might be allowed to be on this list.  An aging legend who has contributed so much at this stage can't be expected to do much.  However, in terms of star popularity, Rohit and kohli will both need to perform well in the upcoming IPL.
