Filming for Vijay's final film, Jana Nayagan, which was directed by H. Vinoth, is moving quickly along.  Amazon Prime Video reportedly paid ₹105 crore to buy the OTT rights to this film.  Following this, some industry insiders said that, considering the enormous anticipation and possibility for enormous platform viewership, ₹105 crore for Vijay's last and most anticipated film, Jana Nayagan, is quite cheap.
 
Meanwhile, rumors indicate that Jana Nayagan has achieved the third spot among the top three OTT agreements for tamil films this year by selling the OTT rights to amazon Prime Video for ₹105 crore.  Kamal Haasan's Thug Life, which brought in an incredible ₹149 crore from Netflix, clinched the top spot, while Rajinikanth's Coolie, which was also purchased by amazon Prime Video for ₹110 crore, took second place.  According to this list, Thug Life is expected to have a significant economic and box office impact this year, aside from Coolie and Jana Nayagan.
 
 In addition, notable malayalam actors Soubin Shahir, Sathyaraj, Reba monica John, Sandalwood star Upendra, bollywood star Aamir Khan, tollywood star Nagarjuna, and star heroine Shruti Haasan play important roles in Coolie.  The movie's soundtrack was composed by Anirudh Ravichander, a well-known composer.
