With the commercially successful Pelli SandaD, Sreeleela made her heroine debut.  Sreeleela's glitz was definitely a big factor in this. The same pattern applied to her next major motion picture, Dhamaka.  But she has been dealing with consecutive setbacks ever since Skanda. Her career has stagnated as a result of recent failures like Aadikeshava and Extraordinary Man.

Her demand in tollywood has consequently drastically decreased.  In addition to flops, Sreeleela seems to be plagued by another negative emotion.  It has been noted that the movie becomes a failure if she takes the place of another heroine who was originally cast but later withdrew.  For example, guntur Kaaram.  Sreeleela became the main heroine after pooja hegde, who had been cast initially, left the role.  Released on Sankranthi 2024, the movie did not perform as well at the box office as anticipated.
 
Rashmika Mandanna was the initial pick for Robinhood, however she chose not to participate because of her hectic schedule.  When Sreeleela was added, the movie failed once again.  Another instance is Ustaad Bhagat Singh, in which Sreeleela was added after pooja hegde was originally cast but later left.  It's unclear if the trend will continue because the movie hasn't been released yet.  It's interesting to note that although rashmika escaped the Robinhood catastrophe, she was unable to dodge Sikandar, which debuted the same week and was a tremendous failure.  After Animal, pushpa 2, and Chhaava, her golden streak comes to an end with this.
