This temple, which is about 3000 years old, is full of mysteries, where all the established principles of science fail. Scientists and academics are still baffled by this temple and its sanctum sanctorum.

One of the oldest civilizations in the world is thought to be Indian. The temples here, whose architecture continues to draw tourists from all over the world, are the clearest evidence of this ancient society. The architecture of magnificent temples astounds everyone. The Neerputhur temple in kerala is one example of such a temple. There are several mysteries in this about 3,000-year-old temple where all accepted scientific theories fall short. Scientists and academics are still baffled by this temple and its sanctum sanctorum.

Mysterious Shivalinga of the Temple
The Shivling in this temple is the most enigmatic feature; it is thought to have materialized spontaneously, without human assistance.  Scientists are surprised by the existence of this Shivling, even though they examine the form and genesis of everything analytically.  The locals believe that this Shivling is merely a mystery about religion and belief, with neither a defined construction period nor a clear construction technique.

It's also unclear where the temple's water comes from. Whether it's dry or rainy, the water around the Shivling stays full here all year long. Geologists have also been forced to consider because of the water's persistent presence. The origin of this water is not supported by any hard scientific data.

Power to cure diseases
Because its followers think it may heal illnesses, this water is also referred to as "miraculous."  The level at which it is referred to as "medicinal water" appears to be beyond the scope of science, however, it is thought to contain certain mineral components that are beneficial to health.

In addition, the temple's architecture is a mystery. Its structure is predicated on astronomical and Vastushastra principles that are impossible to fully measure with the tools of today. Despite numerous attempts, no firm conclusion was ever reached on the state of the sanctum sanctorum, its temperature, or the enigmatic spirit that pervaded it. The locals claim that numerous scientists who entered the sanctum sanctorum also reported experiencing an extraordinary energy flow, which has not yet been scientifically verified.

Stories of the temple related to the Vedas and Puranas
Historians assert that this temple is significant from both a spiritual and cultural perspective.  The locals hold it in high regard and its legends are connected to the Vedas and Puranas.  The locals view it as a "place of miracles" as well as a temple.

The temple of Neerputhur demonstrates that nothing can be explained scientifically.  Faith, experience, and culture are the only ways to solve some puzzles. This shrine highlights the sharp boundary between science and spirituality in addition to posing a challenge to scientists.
