On the complaint of Shiv Sena mla patel, mumbai police has registered a case against stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra. Patel spoke to reporters in this regard on Tuesday. During this, he said that Kamra is avoiding coming to the state. The police have sent him a summons thrice. Despite this, he has not appeared before the mumbai police for questioning. The mla said that Kamra would have to come to the police 'today or tomorrow'.

Let us tell you that comedian Kunal Kamra is famous for his anti-establishment views. He started the stand-up show 'Naya Bharat' on his YouTube channel last month, in which he made 'seditious' remarks against maharashtra Deputy chief minister and shiv sena chief Eknath Shinde, due to which he is in controversies. On the complaint of mla patel, a case has been registered against Kamra at Khar police station under sections 353 (1) (b) (statements causing mischief in public) and 356 (2) (defamation) of the indian Penal Code.


Comedian Kunal Kamra challenged the FIR registered against him in the bombay High Court. On Kamra's petition, the High Court on Tuesday issued notice to mumbai police and shiv sena mla Patel. The High Court has said that it will hear Kamra's petition on april 16Meanwhile, the madras High Court on Monday extended the interim bail granted to Kamra till April 17.


Comedian Kunal Kamra has claimed that he is being threatened with death after the show. Due to this he is not coming to Mumbai. Kamra said that he had requested the police to interrogate him through video conference.
