The Ministry of External Affairs said on tuesday that portugal has reiterated its support for India's claim for permanent membership of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC).
At the conclusion of President Draupadi Murmu's two-day state visit to portugal, Secretary (West) Tanmay Lal told the press that the two countries are cooperating in various multilateral forums, including the United Nations. He said, "The Portuguese leadership has reiterated its support for India's permanent membership in the United Nations Security Council."
