In this context, a report released by Prop Equity, a leading real estate data analytics company, has revealed key facts. This report has provided details of the average prices of houses and flats in newly started housing projects in 9 major cities of the country, including Hyderabad.
According to the Prop Equity report, the average price of flats in newly started housing projects in 9 major cities of the country has increased by 9 percent. The main reason for this seems to be the increase in construction material costs. The report revealed that the average square foot price of residential houses in these 9 cities in the financial year 2024-25 has reached Rs. 13,197. It was Rs. 12,569 in the financial year 2023-24.The average house prices in new projects increased by 9 percent in Kolkata. Prices increased by 17 percent in Thane, 15 percent in Bengaluru, 10 percent in Pune, 5 percent in Delhi-NCR, 5 percent in hyderabad, and 4 percent in Chennai. However, prices decreased by 3 percent each in mumbai and Navi Mumbai.

Coming to hyderabad city, the report clarified that the average square foot price in the financial year 2023-24 was Rs. 7,890, which increased by 5 percent to Rs. 8,306. This means that house prices in hyderabad are also gradually increasing.
