Prem Devi, the victim, was reportedly by herself at her home in Dostpur village at the time of the attack, which happened around 1:30 PM. Allegedly, the attackers, who were neighbors, scaled the boundary wall to enter the property.
Krishna Kumar, the victim's son and an indian Army soldier, complained to Nangal Chaudhari police station on Sunday. Kumar named Rohit, a native of Neemrana in nearby Rajasthan, as one of the attackers in his statement. To identify the four to five additional young people who are allegedly participating in the assault, police have opened an investigation and filed a case against Rohit.
In addition to continuously striking his mother with sticks, Kumar told police that the attackers also dragged her outside the house as they carried out the assault. The attack caused severe injuries to prem Devi's legs. The incident's CCTV tape, which has now gone viral online, unequivocally depicts the males entering the house and assaulting the victim.
Kumar claims that this was not the first time such harassment had occurred. He stated that he had earlier filed a police report on april 7 after being repeatedly threatened with death by the nearby kids. Kumar had placed CCTV cameras at his house out of concern for his family's safety, and they captured the entire event.
Kumar has complained and asked the police to protect his family. The police have stated that an investigation is underway and that, in light of their findings, more action will be taken.
