PM Modi Slams Congress-Led State Govts Over Rising Prices In karnataka, 'Razing Of ForestIn Telangana

Prime minister Modi targeted Congress-led governments for economic mismanagement and environmental neglect.

Prime minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing critique of the congress on Monday, accusing the party of misgovernance in states under its rule. Speaking at an event in Haryana's Yamunanagar, where he laid the foundation stone for an 800-MW ultra-supercritical thermal power unit at the Deenbandhu Chhotu ram Thermal Power Plant, the prime minister targeted Congress-led governments for economi mismanagement and environmental neglect. The PM accused the national party of fueling inflation in karnataka and contributing to environmental degradation in Telangana. 


PM Slams Cong Over karnataka Price Hikes

Aiming at the congress government in karnataka, Modi alleged that the cost of living has surged under its rule. "In Congress-ruled karnataka, from electricity to milk and bus fare to seeds, everything is getting expensive,he said, as per PTI.


He further claimed that various new taxes imposed by the state government were placing an added burden on ordinary citizens, contributing to rising inflation. “People are giving descriptive details on social media regarding raising taxes in the state, thus exposing the congress government,” Modi stated.


He also alleged that individuals close to the karnataka Chief minister had openly said the state had become a hub for corruption under congress leadership.


Meanwhile, in response to the inflation concerns, opposition parties including the bjp and JD(Sare reportedly planning a series of statewide protests in Karnataka.


PM Targets telangana Govt Over Forest Destruction Allegations 

Turning his attention to telangana, Modi accused the state’s Congress government of neglecting environmental promises and engaging in large-scale deforestation.


"The government is busy destroying jungles through bulldozers, causing damage to nature, endangering animals. This is the working style of the congress, he said.


The PM said: "One side is the congress model which has been proven a complete lie and which only thinks about power while the bjp model is based on truth and working on the path shown by Ambedkar,said Modi.
