Fast commerce platform and food delivery. Through the National Career service (NCS) platform, swiggy and the Ministry of Labour and Employment have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in New delhi to strengthen job ties in the gig and logistics industries.

This partnership will immediately integrate Swiggy's gig opportunities into the NCS site, offering verified, real-time job advertisements.

Through real-time API connectivity, swiggy will post validated delivery, logistics, and support roles straight onto the NCS portal following the MoU, guaranteeing smooth job postings and applicant tracking.  The emphasis will be on inclusive hiring, with specific initiatives to advance chances for women, young people, and flexible workers.

This is a "win-win model," according to Union minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, where swiggy increases job seekers' visibility throughout india while gaining access to a talented and diversified talent pool.  With 40 lakh registered companies and more than 1.25 crore active job seekers, the NCS portal is essential to labor mobilization.

The MoU is an important step in expanding the NCS portal's reach into the rapidly expanding gig economy, which provides millions of young people with flexible, location-based opportunities. As part of its promise, swiggy plans to use the portal to mobilize approximately 12 lakh job opportunities over the next two to three years.

Dinker Vashisht, Chief of corporate Affairs at swiggy, praised the action as an example of public-private collaboration, stating that it will improve access to worker welfare programs, wallet PLATFORM' target='_blank' title='digital-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>digital empowerment, and structured onboarding.

According to Vashisht, "Swiggy's story demonstrates how wallet PLATFORM' target='_blank' title='digital-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>digital business can change people's lives.  This Memorandum of Understanding will empower job seekers and support our dedication to inclusive growth in the modern economy.

Swiggy and the NCS portal will integrate via an API, guaranteeing smooth application tracking and real-time job postings.  The collaboration seeks to promote wallet PLATFORM' target='_blank' title='digital-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>digital empowerment, organized onboarding, and increased knowledge of worker welfare programs. The government's goal for the NCS as a one-stop shop for employment, skill development, and counseling—one that can match jobs hyperlocally and facilitate both domestic and foreign placements—was also emphasized by Dr. Mandaviya.

This MoU is an example of a comprehensive strategy to close the gap between job searchers and employment possibilities, and it is part of a series of agreements with employers and platforms in the private sector. To create an environment that supports India's diverse workforce, the Ministry of Labour & Employment intends to keep interacting with commercial organizations. To enable diverse employment outcomes across sectors, it is anticipated that the dynamic platform of the NCS portal will further integrate into the gig and platform economies.
