Following the release of a video by the trinamool congress (TMC) alleging that bjp activists had attacked residents to force them from their houses, the accusations surrounding the violence in Murshidabad have taken a dramatic turn.
The footage of a woman who was allegedly a local and was one among the victims of the violence in Murshidabad that followed the Waqf Act protest was uploaded by State General Secretary Nilanjan Das.
The Shamsherganj woman said that because of her loyalty to the TMC, bjp activists forced her from her house. "We weren't driven out by Muslims. The destitute Hindu woman from the Shamsherganj police station area claimed, "The bjp stole everything and drove us out of our houses." "There were no Muslims present. We have been protected by the local government," she stated. In the video, the woman adds, "They attacked us because we work for the TMC and labeled us as Muslims."
