Man tears his passport to hide his bangkok trip..!?

A man who tried to hide his previous trip to bangkok from his family, especially his wife, has finally landed in jail. The 51-year-old man from pune was caught by immigration officials at Mumbai's Chhatrapati shivaji Maharaj international Airport. The mumbai police have registered a case against him after he allegedly tore out pages of his passport. He is facing legal complications for trying to deceive immigration officials. According to the immigration officer who filed the complaint, Rajiv Ranjan Kumar, the passenger's illegality came to light when he reached the immigration counter in the early hours of Monday. When he showed his passport and boarding pass, it was found that the passenger had come from indonesia via Vietnam.
Upon closer inspection, the officer found that some pages of his passport were missing. The officer became suspicious and took him for further questioning. During questioning, the passenger confessed that he had torn some pages to hide the details of his previous trip to bangkok about a year ago from his family, the FIR said. Considering this act as illegal tampering with official travel documents, the immigration officials filed a complaint at the Sahar police station. A case has been registered against the man under Section 12 of the Passports Act and Section 318(4) of the indian Penal Code (IPC).
