Why was Jesus Christ crucified?

The history of Good friday is related to the death of Jesus Christ. It is said that some Jewish religious leaders complained to the Roman ruler Pilate that Jesus was calling himself the son of god and was winning people over to his side. After this complaint, Jesus Christ was accused of treason. The Roman soldiers caught him, after which he was tortured many times and later hanged on the cross and died.

Where was Jesus Christ hanged?

It is said that Jesus Christ was arrested in Jerusalem on the orders of the Roman ruler Pilate. He was tortured many times and Jesus Christ himself walked to Mount Golgotha in Jerusalem carrying the cross on which he was to be hanged. Where Jesus Christ placed the cross, he was hanged on the cross there. Along with Jesus Christ, two more people were hanged on the cross on the orders of the Roman emperor.

Where is that cross now?

There are many stories about the cross on which Jesus Christ was hanged. However, the most popular story is that Helena, the mother of Roman emperor Constantine, discovered this cross. It is said that when Jesus Christ was crucified, after his death, the Roman soldiers threw the cross in a deep ditch and covered it with stones and soil to prevent his followers from finding it. About 300 years later, on Helena's orders, the place was excavated, from where three crosses were found, but the question was which of the three was the 'true cross'? To find this out, Helena gave all the three crosses to a sick woman one by one to touch. The cross by touching which the woman got cured was considered the true cross. One part of this cross was taken to Rome and the other remained in Jerusalem.
