The list of the highest-paid actresses in indian cinema is dominated by names like alia bhatt, kareena kapoor Khan, deepika Padukone, Nayanthara, rashmika mandanna, and samantha Ruth Prabhu. But now, one actress has outperformed them all, and she isn't one who has been involved in indian cinema recently.
 
Priyanka Chopra Jonas is the actress in question; her most recent indian film came out in 2019. She is making a huge comeback after a six-year hiatus with two of the most eagerly awaited movies: Krrish 4 with hrithik roshan and SSMB29 with SS rajamouli and Mahesh Babu. According to reports, priyanka has already started filming SSMB29, which has not yet been formally revealed.

The project, which is titled after Mahesh Babu's 29th movie, is being helmed by rajamouli, who is renowned for his blockbuster hits, including rrr and Baahubali.
 
In the meantime, hrithik roshan will helm Krrish 4, the fourth entry in the well-known superhero series, with aditya chopra and rakesh roshan serving as producers.  Filming is anticipated to start in early 2026.
 
The actress, who has won multiple National Awards, is the highest-paid actress in indian cinema, earning ₹30 crore for each of these two films, according to industry insiders.
 
Bollywood Hungama was informed by a source that "she wasn't willing to compromise on her fee — and why should she?  Why should double-digit earnings be reserved for male actors? It's interesting to note that Chopra is apparently paid more than a number of prominent male performers in the indian film industries.
