Today, he met with Nirmala Sitharaman, Rajnath Singh, Kishan Reddy, Jitendra Singh, Prime Minister's office Affairs minister, and Murugan, Union Fisheries Minister. "I have requested the Union Finance minister to remark on the current financial situation in pondicherry and to offer additional funding to pondicherry in the future financial year," Speaker of the Legislature Selvam stated.

"Under the Central Government's Swadeshi Darshan initiative, I have proposed that monies be allocated for the development of Nallawadu, Narambai, and Kalapattu coastline villages as tourism sites," he said. During the talks with the Speaker, Angalan, an independent mla who has backed the bjp in pondicherry, and mp Selvaganapathi were also present. The conference was also attended by bjp officials.

When asked about this in party circles, the three independent MLAs made a number of requests, including prioritising welfare projects for their constituency despite backing the BJP.
