What do you do to earn money, some do farming, some do business, some become an entrepreneur. Well, there are many strange professions in the world. In today's world, people make money by selling toilets, farts and even their obesity. An American woman has gone four steps ahead of all these professionals. According to a report in Daily Mail, New York's Taylor A Humphrey is earning up to crores of rupees annually by naming children.

Humphrey runs a boutique consultancy called 'What's in a Baby Name'. Here the naming of the child is done for the parents. Humphrey claims that some clients pay up to $30,000 (approximately Rs 22.8 lakh) to name him. Humphrey services start at $1,500 (approximately Rs 1.14 lakh). Humphrey charges clients money based on the work they do. For $10,000 (Rs 7.6 lakh), she gives the child a name that complements the parent's business brand.

Humphrey has no children of his own, but he also has a doula (a non-medical professional who lives with the mother to support her giving birth). Humphrey works hard so that parents can choose the perfect name for their kids. Last year he named more than 100 children. Humphrey looks at everything from film credits to street signs to find the perfect name. She also tracks trends with the help of social security databases. Humphrey, a graduate of New York University, tried his hand at screenwriting and other careers as well, but he did not feel anywhere.

In 2015, she started the baby naming business. In 2018, Humphrey, who was studying for Dula, came up with the idea to turn baby-naming work into a business. Humphrey is very passionate about his work and is earning crores. What is your opinion on the baby naming business?
