5G spectrum - jio bid 415 times bigger than adani group!!!
Union Telecom minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said on august 1 that the auction of the 5g spectrum has ended, in which 71% of the total spectrum has been sold. reliance jio has acquired the largest share of the 5g spectrum by bidding. jio has bought spectrum worth over Rs 88,000 crore.
The special thing is that mukesh Ambani's jio has bid for a 415 times larger share of the spectrum than the adani Group. Vaishnaw said jio is the only bidder which has acquired 700 MHz in all 22 circles. 700 MHz has a range of 5 to 10 km, which provides a solid base coverage for telecommunications. In all, jio has acquired 24740 MHz of spectrum put up for auction, for an amount due of Rs 88,078 crore.

Bids worth Rs 1,50,173 crore were received for 71 per cent of the total 5g spectrum in the latest round of auction.
The adani Group acquired 400 MHz of spectrum in the 26 GHz band.
Bharti airtel got 19,867 MHz of spectrum in various bands.
Reliance jio topped the 5g spectrum auction with a 24,740 MHz spectrum.
Vodafone idea got a spectrum of 2,668 MHz.
Mukesh Ambani's jio made the highest winning bid of Rs 88,078 crore.
Adani Group bids for spectrum worth Rs 212 crore.
Bharti airtel bids Rs 43,084 crore for the 5g spectrum.
Vodafone idea made a bid of Rs 18,784 crore.
The auction lasted for 40 rounds
The first auction of the 5g spectrum in india began on July 26. The auction concluded after a total of 40 rounds of bidding in the last seven days. According to sources, the provisional value of the bids received after 40 rounds was Rs 1,50,173 crore. Bids worth Rs 43 crore were received on the seventh and last day of the auction. Bids worth Rs 1.45 lakh crore were received on the first day of the auction on July 26.
