According to the company, the recommendations of the audit committee will be kept for the proposal to sell the Nigri Cement Grinding Plant. If we talk about Jaiprakash Associates Ltd of Jaypee Group, then at present its total capacity is 60 lakh tonnes per year. On the other hand, the total capacity of Jaiprakash Power Ventures is 40 lakh tonnes per year. Jaiprakash Associates and Jaiprakash Power Ventures are debt-ridden companies and both had made up their mind to sell some non-core assets along with the cement business in october itself to reduce their debt.
