Important update on rail food..! read this..!

During long journeys in trains, food and beverage issues often arise in front of passengers. So many times you can see people taking their home-cooked food with them. But what about those who can't? Hence, a new arrangement has been introduced in the Railways for pure vegetarians (Sattvik food). If you are also facing similar problems, this news will definitely cheer you up. Accordingly, after the new order from the Ministry of Railways, passengers will now be able to get completely Sattvik food during their journey. irctc, a subsidiary of indian Railways, has joined hands with ISKCON to provide sattvic meals to passengers during their journeys. Under this, passengers on a sattvic diet will have their food delivered to their seats after placing an order at govinda Restaurant in the ISKCON temple. Under this agreement between irctc and ISKCON, this service is currently available at the Hazrat Nizamuddin station in Delhi.
In this situation, long-distance passengers (passengers who do not eat onions and garlic) avoid food available from the pantry car. But the Railway Board said that after the introduction of this facility, such passengers will not face any problems. So if you or your family want to eat Sattvik food during the train journey, you need to book food on irctc e-catering website or the Food on Track app. For this, an order should be placed at least two hours prior to train departure with the PNR number. After ordering, the food arrives at your seat.
Meanwhile, govinda restaurant's food offerings include Old delhi veg biryani, deluxe thali, maharaja thali, dal makhani, paneer dishes, noodles, and other Sattvik dishes.
