Recently, the 12th edition of the Best Restaurants list for Asia was announced at a ceremony in Seoul, and it's a moment of pride for india as three of its restaurants secured spots in the prestigious list. Sazen and Florilage, both located in Tokyo, clinched the first and second positions respectively, while Mask restaurant in mumbai was crowned as the best restaurant in india, securing the 23rd position overall.

Indian Accent Restaurant in New Delhi, renowned for its culinary excellence, secured the 26th position, and Avartana restaurant in chennai made its mark at the 44th position. Notably, Mask restaurant, managed by Aditi Dugar and Chef varun Botlani, offers a menu starting at Rs. 4,583, showcasing exquisite culinary creations.


Indian Accent Restaurant in Delhi, founded by Chef manish Mehrotra in 2009, has consistently been recognized as the best restaurant in the country from 2015 to 2021. Although it ranked 19th in 2023 after dropping off the list in 2022, its reputation for offering dishes starting at Rs. 4,167 remains unrivalled.


Avartana Restaurant from chennai, a newcomer to the awards circuit, stands out for its array of South indian dishes and secured a spot among the best restaurants in Asia.  The list also highlights the culinary prowess of other regions, with singapore boasting nine restaurants in the top 50, followed by bangkok and hong kong with six restaurants each. Additionally, a restaurant in beijing received the prestigious One to watch award, underscoring the diversity and excellence of culinary experiences across Asia.
