No more wandering to the register office for property details... Happy news!

Reports suggest that most services related to property bonds will soon be available online.

Not only in tamil Nadu, but across India, government services are gradually being shifted online. This move is being undertaken for the convenience of the public and administration to simplify services and increase transparency.

In that way, the deed registration work carried out through the office of the Registrar in tamil Nadu is being transferred to the online system.

For this, the software called Star was developed in 2000 and the software called Star 2.0 in 2018. With this most of the deed registration work has gone online.

This software used to perform many tasks like property transfer details, time allotment of deed registration, and issuance of animal certificates.

Star 3.0 software is currently being developed to improve Star 2.0

This will fully digitize documents from 1895 to 2009.

Reports suggest that if the STAR 3.0 software becomes fully operational, we can expect many more drastic changes in the deed registration industry.

As a result, property buyers do not need to come to the Registrar's office to view the 159-year-old deeds and can get the previous copies online.
