When will the Income Tax Refund be available?

Income Tax Department sends a notification to the taxpayer's registered mobile number and email address when the refund is received in the bank account. July 31 is the last date for filing income tax returns and it has passed. Now it's time to get a tax refund. Refunds will be sent to verified bank accounts through electronic clearing services. However, the name or names written on the PAN card must be the same as on the bank account.

Only those who have paid dues through TDS and tcs are eligible for Income Tax refund. Income tax payers are waiting for refund after filing income tax returns. However, the Income Tax Department said that if the return is not e-verified, the refund cannot be issued.Verification is mandatory after filing the return. If the withdrawal is not verified, it is considered incomplete. Simply put, that ATR is invalid. However, it takes 15 days to 45 days to get the refund after filing the income tax return.

According to the Income Tax Department website, it may take at least four to five weeks for the refund to be credited to the taxpayer's account. However, technical reasons may delay the refund to the taxpayer's bank account.
