Google Cloud to Open Startup Hub in MP, 

Google Cloud has planned to open a startup hub and a centre of excellence in madhya pradesh, stated the state cm, Mohan Yadav.

Yadav made the comments while speaking at a session organized by Invest madhya pradesh in Bengaluru on Thursday, august 8.

As per the official press release, the chip major NVIDIA in the said session proposed to come up with a roadmap for developing madhya pradesh as the ‘Intelligence capital of India’.According to cm Yadav, the state government got bids of about Rs 3,200 crore during the session. Whether these investments come through or not still has to be seen, however, Yadav stated that these propositions will help in the formation of approximately 7000 new employment opportunities for the state and boost the economy.

The cm also had a round table meeting with the space-tech startups and Information technology giants like Infosys, Cognizant, and Tata Consultancy Services. These comments from the cm come at a time when google Cloud has increased its operations and services in india and has partnered with state authorities and players to support its india business.CM Yadav stated, “Discussions were held with these companies regarding the development of information technology in madhya pradesh and their future plans, and I am hopeful that with the kind of positive response that we have got, we will witness many IT companies setting up their campuses in Madhya Pradesh.”

In february of 2021, google inked an MoU with the maharashtra government for scalable AI solutions for sectors like agriculture, healthcare, sustainability, education, and startups. In May, google Cloud signed a ‘long-term strategic partnership deal’ with indian telecom titan Bharti airtel to offer cloud services to enterprises. In the same month, the homegrown GenAI startup – Soket AI Labs launched India’s first open-source multilingual foundational model with the help of google Cloud.

Earlier this month, SaaS startup Adya. ai stated that it is collaborating with google Cloud to launch a platform to drive the adoption of ONDC across the enterprises.
