BYD is a well-known electric vehicle manufacturer in China.
Ability to produce 2.5 lakh EVs annually
According to business Standard, which cited sources for its article, reliance Infrastructure is giving the EV idea considerable thought. Their investigation into the expense of the EV plant has begun. This plant would be able to produce 2.5 lakh cars annually. In the upcoming years, it could rise to 7.50 lakh automobiles. In addition to this, the business plans to establish a 10-gigawatt-hour (GWh) battery plant. Later on, it will be raised to 75 gigawatt hours. reliance Infrastructure has not yet commented on this proposal. However, the company's shares have increased by almost 2 percent since the publication of this study.
