zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal Is the Second Richest Person in Gurugram

Gurugram, Haryana, is home to 23 individuals with a net worth of Rs 1,000 crore or more, but interestingly, zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal is not the wealthiest among them. Despite his substantial net worth of Rs 9,300 crore, Goyal ranks as the second richest person in the city.

So, who holds the title of the richest person in Gurugram? According to the Hurun india Rich List 2024, nirmal kumar Minda, Chairman and Managing director of UNO Minda, tops the list. With a net worth of Rs 30,800 crore, Minda’s fortune is more than three times that of Goyal. Minda is not only the wealthiest in Gurugram but also ranks 91st among the richest people in India.

Following Goyal, the third spot is claimed by varun Alagh and his wife, Ghazal Alagh, founders of Honasa Consumer Ltd, based in Gurugram. Their estimated net worth in 2024 stands at Rs 5,900 crore, largely due to their retail brand, Mamaearth.

In fourth place is Jyoti Bhatia, sister of indigo airlines co-founder rahul Bhatia, with a net worth of Rs 4,500 crore. Ravinder Kumar of Gawar Construction rounds out the top five, with an estimated net worth of Rs 4,300 crore.
