-Nifty closed with slight gain, ola rose 10%!!!

Ahead of the two-day Fed Reserve meeting starting today on interest rates, the indian stock market has seen trade in a very limited range. However, buying has been seen in consumer durables, energy and banking stocks. Mid-cap and small-cap indices closed with a decline. At the end of trading, the BSE Sensex closed with a jump of 90 points at 83,080 and the National Stock Exchange's Nifty closed with a jump of 35 points at 25,418 points.

Minor loss to investors

The market cap has closed with a slight decline due to the decline in mid-cap and small-cap stocks. The market cap of shares listed on the BSE closed at Rs 470.21 lakh crore, which closed at Rs 470.47 lakh crore in the previous trading session. That is, in today's session, investors' wealth has seen a decline of Rs 26000 crore.

Rising and falling stocks

In today's trading, out of 30 stocks of Sensex, 15 stocks closed with gains and 15 with losses. Out of 50 stocks of Nifty, 25 stocks closed with gains and 25 with losses. 4058 stocks were traded on BSE, in which 1712 stocks closed with gains and 2237 with losses and no change was seen in the prices of 109 stocks. Among the gainers, Bajaj Finance closed with a gain of 1.59%, NTPC 1.27%, mahindra & mahindra 1.14%, Titan 0.86%, L&T 0.83%, mahindra BANK' target='_blank' title='kotak mahindra bank-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>kotak mahindra bank 0.75%, icici bank 0.33%, HUL 0.33%, Bajaj Finance 0.29%, sun Pharma 0.11%. Among the losers, Tata Motors closed with a loss of 1.33%, adani Ports 0.93%, ITC 0.91%, Tata Steel 0.91%, Asian Paints 0.65%, Bajaj Finserv closed with a loss of 0.51%.
