Kartik purnima and ganga Dussehra (Gangasnan) are also on november 15, however the holiday is due to Guru Nanak Jayanti.


Know in which cities and states banks will remain closed


On november 15, banks in Maharashtra, Mizoram, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Chandigarh, Nagaland, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Hyderabad, Jammu, Telangana, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, New Delhi, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, srinagar are going to have a holiday. If the citizens of these cities and states have any work in banks or bank branches for financial work, then they should finish this work tomorrow itself because after this the banks will open on saturday, november 16.


Stock market will also be closed on 15 november - long weekend is open

This Friday, i.e. 15 november, the stock market will also be closed and there will be no trading on both BSE and NSE exchanges. Apart from this, the commodity market and currency exchange will also remain closed. After this, there is a weekly holiday in the stock market on saturday and Sunday, i.e. 16-17 november respectively, so the stock market will remain closed for three consecutive days i.e. 15-16-17 november and traders-brokers and investors will be able to enjoy the long weekend.


The Reserve bank has already announced

The Reserve bank has already declared 15 november as a holiday in the list of bank holidays. The first Guru of the Sikhs was born on the full moon day of Shukla Paksha of Kartik month and this day is celebrated as the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev.
