Market Valuation Of Eight Of The Top 10 Maximum Valued Companies Erodes Rs 1.65 Lakh Crore; tcs Takes The Largest Hit.
The blended market valuation of eight of the top 10 maximum valued firms eroded Rs 1,65,784.9 crore last week, with Tata Consultancy offerings (TCS) taking the most important hit, in keeping with bearish tendencies in equities.
Remaining week, the BSE benchmark declined 628.15 points, or 0.82 percent, while the Nifty decreased 133.35 points, or 0.58 percent. The market valuation of tcs tanked from Rs 53,185.89 crore to Rs 13,69,717.48 crore. The market valuation of six of the top 10 maximum valued companies surges to Rs 1.18 lakh crore.
Bharti Airtel's market capitalization (mcap) dropped Rs 44,407.77 crore to Rs 934,223.77 crore. The valuation of icici bank tumbled Rs 18,235.45 crore to Rs 870,579.68 crore, and that of Hindustan Unilever plunged Rs 17,962.62 crore to Rs 526,684.38 crore. Infosys confronted an erosion of Rs 17,086.61 crore to Rs 753,700.15 crore from its market valuation.
The mcap of ITC eroded Rs 11,949.42 crore to Rs 5,017.50 crore, and that of hdfc bank dwindled from Rs 2,555.53 crore to Rs 12,94,152.82 crore. state bank of India's valuation declined Rs 401.61 crore to Rs 6,43,955.96 crore. But the market cap of reliance Industries jumped from Rs 14,547.03 crore to Rs 16,613.69 crore.
