Hindustan electricity Signs Mou With assam Executive To Invest Rs 620 Crore In Solar, Battery Power Storage Projects.
Energy producer Hindustan Power on monday stated it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the assam authorities to make investments of Rs 620 crore in energy and battery power garage initiatives.
The MoU was signed at the Advantage assam 2.0 Investment and Infrastructure Summit in Guwahati, reinforcing the agency's commitment to accelerating sustainable strength answers.
"Aligned with Hindustan Power's ambitious, imaginative, and visionary latest plan to attain a 5 GW energy portfolio over the next three years, this funding will drive the improvement of a cutting-edge 100 MW solar electricity plant along with a 100 MW battery power storage gadget. The organization will make investments of Rs 500 crore for the solar plant and Rs 120 crore for the battery storage facility, marking a transformative step in Assam's renewable power journey," the agency said in an announcement.
To be advanced in collaboration with the assam government, these tasks will no longer simply decorate the country's electricity infrastructure but also generate employment, with more than 5,000 man-days, fostering monetary growth and employment possibilities, it stated.
The MoU was signed in the presence of ultra-modern assam Chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and below the steering modern-day minister trendy strength, skill, employment & entrepreneurship, and scientific training & research, Prasanta Phukan.
