Haier india is going to invest Rs 1000 crore in Greater Noida!

Haier Appliances india has announced an investment of Rs 1,000 crore in its Greater noida plant between 2024 and 2028. Speaking to ETRetail on the occasion of the inauguration, Haier Appliances india President NS Satish said that the company has inaugurated a Rs 200 crore injection molding plant, in which plastic components will be produced keeping in mind better quality and flexibility. Along with this, the manufacturing unit built at a cost of Rs 100 crore will also be operational by october 2025.

AC manufacturing facility to be built for Rs 700 crore

The biggest investment will be of Rs 700 crore, with which a new AC manufacturing facility will be built. This will increase Haier's annual AC production capacity to 2.5 million units and with this, the total production capacity will reach 4 million units by early 2027. This will double the workforce at the noida company, resulting in the creation of 3,500 new jobs. NS Satish further said, "The Bhoomi Pujan of our new facilities at the Greater noida plant reflects our commitment to the country's 'Make in India' initiative."

Manoj Kumar Singh, Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh government, who was present at the inauguration ceremony, said, "We are confident that this facility will play an important role in accelerating the economic growth of the state and will bring india forward as a major player in the global manufacturing sector." In 2018, Haier signed an MoU with the Uttar Pradesh government to build an industrial park worth Rs 3,069 crore. This is how much Higher india earned in 2024

In 2024, Higher India's revenue was Rs 8,900 crore, while for 2025 the company has set a target of Rs 11,500 crore. Refrigerators contributed the most to the company's revenue at 40-45 percent. After which air conditioners contributed 20 percent, washing machines and LED TVs contributed 15-15 percent. With the increase in demand, Higher also plans to set up a manufacturing unit in South india to meet the growing demand for washing machines and refrigerators.
