Now the price of milk will increase again!

Siddaramaiah's government in karnataka on thursday decided to increase the price of Nandini milk supplied by karnataka Milk Federation by Rs 4 per liter. This decision was taken after considering the demand of KMF and farmers' organizations.

All these products will also become expensive

This decision to increase the price of milk was taken just before the Ugadi festival, which will be celebrated with great pomp all over karnataka on march 30. Now since the price of milk will increase, the price of coffee, tea and other milk products will also increase in hotels and sweet shops.

Recently, the state government was criticized for increasing the fare of metro and rtc buses. The government has also increased the electricity rate. There was also a demand to increase the price of milk by Rs 5 per liter. However, the government has decided to increase it by only Rs 4.

This is why the milk price will be increased

On march 5, the karnataka government had informed about increasing the price of Nandini milk in the state. During the question-answer session in the Legislative Council, Animal Husbandry minister K. venkatesh said in the House, "We will definitely increase the price of milk. The amount to be increased will be discussed with the Chief Minister." He also said that the government owes Rs 656.07 crore subsidy to milk producers. A total of 9.04 lakh beneficiaries have not received the dues yet.

He said, "We have asked the Finance Department to release the pending amount. After the amount is approved by the department, it will be distributed to the beneficiaries. We will do this soon. Farmers are talking about increasing the price of milk by Rs 10 per liter. We will definitely increase the price of milk. After discussion with the Chief minister, it will be decided how much the price should be increased."
