Homemade kaju Katli Recipe: Make and serve to guests!


Kaju Katli is one of the top sweets for dessert lovers. Mostly cashew nuts are ordered and eaten by sweet lovers at sweet shops. But this can be done very easily with the same taste available in stores at home. These have a very simple recipe and only take a very short time to make.

Cashews - 1 cup

Sugar - 1/2 cup

Water - 1/4 cup


Recipe:  First, put the cashews in a pan, fry for a while on medium heat, and let it cool before blending it to a coarse powder, once grinded try to sieve it to avoid lumps. 


Put the pan in the cookstove and add sugar, water, and cook till it comes to a boiling state for 5 minutes. 

Then add a little cashew powder to the sugar syrup and stir well. Now add 1tsp of ghee and mix well to get a smooth paste. Don't overcook then it will become hard.

Spread a little ghee on a plate, pour this mixture into it and knead well. 

Place the dough between the butter paper and roll using a rolling pin. Remove the butter paper and apply silver vark and cut it into a diamond shape of your choice.
