police station in-charge Rakesh Bharti said that in this complaint he has complained of a fraud of Rs 50 lakh 75 thousand. He told that he received a call on august 7, in which the caller talked to him by introducing himself as a cbi officer.
According to the victim, he was told over the phone that several bank accounts were being operated from his Aadhaar card and mobile number, which were used in criminal incidents. For this reason, he has been digitally arrested. After this, by deceiving him, Rs 50 lakh 75 thousand were transferred from his account to the account of Bandhan bank located in Ghaziabad. When this amount was transferred, he realized that he had been cheated. After which he reached the police station with his family members and lodged a complaint.

Police officials said that retired bank officer Rakesh Kumar Jain was told by the fraudsters that efforts are being made to arrest the accused in this case soon. When the real culprit is caught, his amount of Rs 51 lakh will be returned. The retired bank officer had made an FD of Rs 51 lakh in his account, which was broken and the amount was transferred to the account of the accused.
