Himachal's son martyred in encounter with terrorists…
While protecting Mother India, another brave soldier of the indian Army has been martyred. praveen Sharma, son of Sirmaur district, was martyred in Operation Rakshak, which has been going on for the last two days in Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir. praveen Sharma was a resident of Palu village of Rajgarh subdivision of Sirmaur district. He was posted in the One Para Special Force and was only 26 years old. He was the only son of his parents and was to get married after two months.
The martyr's body will reach his native village on Monday
district Sirmaur Deputy Commissioner sumit Khimta has said that the martyr's body will reach chandigarh on monday morning. The administration has arranged for an ambulance to bring the body from Chandigarh. He said that appropriate guidelines have also been issued to the SDM of Rajgarh in this regard. On monday, the martyr will be cremated with military honours and state honours in his native village Habban.
