The police said that Savita (age 45 years) lived with her husband and son on rent on the fourth floor of Swastik Building B Wing. The couple has three daughters and a son. All three girls are married and one girl married against the wishes of the family, so there was a rift between them. On tuesday morning, when the son had gone out for work, due to a mutual dispute between the husband and wife, the husband Shatru Gun Gore (age 50 years) brutally beat his wife with an axe and the lid of the cooker. In this beating, she was seriously injured due to severe head injury. Meanwhile, her married daughter Mukta Laikha came home and found her mother injured.
Case registered on daughter's complaint
Gangapur police station was informed about the matter. Senior police Inspector Sushil Jumde, police Inspector Jagved Singh Rajput reached the spot and the police admitted the badly injured woman to the district hospital, where the doctor declared her dead. On the other hand, daughter Mukta Laikha lodged a complaint in Gangapur police station. According to the daughter's complaint, a case has been registered against the woman's husband Shatru Gun Gore and the accused husband is absconding since the incident. The absconding husband is being searched.
