A Cunning thief Who Broke Into 14 Houses Arrested!

The Anti-Burglary Cell of Dwarka district of delhi police has arrested a cunning thief and solved 14 cases. The arrested accused has been identified as deepak Kumar son of Mangal Singh resident slum, H-3 Block, Lal Marg, Vikaspuri, Delhi. The police have recovered a huge amount of stolen goods from the possession of the accused, which includes 02 gold rings, 01 pair of gold earrings, 05 LED tvs, 03 mobile phones, 01 Lenovo laptop, stolen coins, a large temple bell and a gas cylinder. The DCP said that the case dates back to january 27, when a theft took place in broad daylight from the house of ram Sagun Paswan resident Mahesh Vihar, Uttam Nagar. An unknown thief broke into his house between 02 and 04 pm and stole cash, gold earrings and LED TV. On the complaint of the victim, a case was registered in Uttam nagar police station under e-FIR number 80012462/2025.

Identification of suspect with the help of informers

According to the information, after which, on the instructions of Dwarka district Deputy Commissioner of police, a special team was formed under the leadership of Inspector vivek Mandola (Incharge, Anti-Burglary Cell), which included SI Vinod, Head Constable Varun, Head Constable Anil, Head Constable Krishna, Constable praveen and Constable Subhash. The DCP said that the team first scanned the CCTV footage around the crime scene, in which a suspicious youth was seen taking away the LED tv after the theft. The police identified the suspect with the help of informers, who turned out to be deepak Kumar, a resident of slum, Vikaspuri.

The DCP informed that the police team received information that deepak Kumar was going to come to Safeda Park, Uttam nagar at 6:30 pm on february 6. Immediately the police laid a trap and as soon as the accused entered the park, the police caught him. On searching, 03 stolen mobiles, 01 pair of gold earrings, 01 woman's gold ring and 01 man's gold ring were recovered.

Police gave this information

Police informed that during interrogation, deepak Kumar confessed to being involved in several incidents of theft. On his indication, the police recovered 05 LED tvs, 01 laptop, 01 big bronze temple bell, stolen coins and 01 gas cylinder from his slum hideout. The DCP said that during interrogation, deepak told that he is a resident of bihar and his father works as a laborer. He studied till 10th, then started working as a laborer with his father. In the year 2019, he came to delhi and started working as a laborer. In 2022, he got addicted to drugs after falling into bad company, due to which his father called him back. But in 2023 he returned to delhi again and entered the world of crime.
